Actor Alan Rickman has sadly passed away at the age of 69.
The Guardian reports that his family confirmed the news today (Thursday). He had been suffering from cancer.
Rickman is best known for his roles in
Harry Potter,
Die Hard,
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and
Love, Actually.
The world of film just won’t be the same without him.
The actor played Snape in the Harry Potter films.
