Adam King is coming back to Irish screens!
The Late Late Toy Show star is lending his voice to a new animated series, Adam Loves Adventure.
Adam Loves Adventure is a science-fiction adventure comedy for young children.
King plays a problem-solving space explorer who uses his big heart and space smarts to make new friends and learn new things.
It’s set in outer space, and follows the crew of The Shelby as they fly through the universe meeting unique aliens and exploring fantastical worlds, solving problems with empathy, compassion, teamwork and logic.
The series will air on Valentine’s Day with a double bill on RTÉ2 at 8:00am and on RTÉ KIDSjr at 7:50am.
All episodes will also be available to watch on RTÉ Player from February 14th.
The animation will also feature Paul Tylak as Bubby, Emer O’Neil as Shelby, Bonnie O’Meara (star of Maddie + Triggs) as Speedy and Portia McLoughlin as Zuzu.
Speaking about the new series, Adam said: “I’m really proud of the show, I love the characters and all the adventures they go on. I think it’s really cool to hear my voice in the show!”

“We apologise if the uber-catchy theme song is in your head for the rest of the day! This Valentines Day RTÉ KIDSjr is sharing the love by dropping the whole boxset on RTÉ Player for all the family to enjoy.”
