The ancient method of swaddling is proving quite popular amongst Japanese mothers who are wrapping themselves up in cloth to alleviate pain after giving birth.
The five mothers at this recent session in Tokyo lay on their backs with their knees on their chests bundled up in white cloths.
The women are then gently rocked back and forwards.
But some chiropractor's are cynical about the powers of adult swaddling. They have encouraged anyone with aches and pains after childbirth to visit their GP instead.
What do you make of it?
