Footballer Áine O’Gorman has announced the arrival of her and her partner Rachel’s second child.
The professional footballer confirmed the news on Instagram this week by sharing a sweet photo of her cuddling her newborn.
Áine confirmed their baby girl, who is their second child, was born two weeks ago.
She posted a heartwarming photo of her cuddling her newborn daughter and the mum looks as happy as ever.
Her little girl is snuggled up on her mum’s chest in the moving photo.
Alongside the adorable photo, the footballer wrote: “Two weeks of baby Emily O’Gorman.”
The name Emily is of Latin origin and means ‘rival, laborious, and eager.’
The name has become one of the most popular names for baby girls in Ireland so it’s no surprise to see the new mums are a fan of the sweet moniker.
Áine and Rachel are already parents to a baby boy James, who was born in 2022.
The pair’s followers sent them loving messages following the announcement.
