"I've got a really good chance of getting back out on the dancefloor as soon as possible," she said. The dancer explained that her mum was diagnosed with breast cancer in her 50s, but never expected this to happen to her. "You just don't ever think it's going to happen to you," she adds. "I hadn't thought it was possible to get breast cancer at my age. My mum has had breast cancer, but she had it at a later age, in her 50s," she shared. Amy told her followers that sharing the news wasn't easy. They have been showering her with loving messages and support since she shared the harrowing news. "Sending you love and power and all the strength - you’re such an incredible woman! Take care of yourself," Oti Mabuse. "We’re all Fighting behind you all the way Amy!!!!! Sending so much love to you," Gemma Atkinson said. "Sending you all my love and strength! Can’t wait to see you on the other side shining bright! You got this!" Saffron Barker added.
