Last night's episode saw the Carters being questioned by the cops on their whereabouts on that night, with each one protesting their innocence.
Linda, having disposed of a gun (which we're assuming was the weapon) earlier this week, is understandably panicked - but reckoned she did the right thing, as she was sure she was protecting Mick.
But he is insistent that he didn't shoot Stuart - and now Linda's becoming more and more worried that she's not only covered for someone else, but put her own freedom on the line.
Which is scary enough in itself - but she doesn't realise that Keanu Taylor saw her late night trip to the canal, or that she threw it into the water.
Mick also lied to the cops about his whereabouts at the time of the shooting, telling them he was sleeping upstairs.
It looks like the Carters are in for a rocky time, as the news of Stuart's shooting starts to spread throughout Albert Square,
As the residents begin to wonder what really happened that night, Friday night's episode will see DI Arthurs make an arrest, according to Digital Spy.
Has Keanu told the cops what he saw? Or have they copped on to Mick's real whereabouts?
Or is it someone entirely different leaving the Queen Vic in cuffs?
