Any day now: Multiple hospitals get set for Kate Middleton

Kensington Palace has several birthing plans set

With Kate Middleton’s due date thought to be just a week away, we’re expecting the arrival of her second baby ANY DAY NOW.

Royal ‘superfans’ have even been spotted setting up camp outside the Lindo Wing where Kate gave birth to George almost two years ago.

It has also been reported that St. Mary’s Hospital in London has offered Kate a ten per cent second-child discount when she is ready to deliver. Although, with more than one hospital gearing up for the main event, it’s not yet known whether the Duchess will avail of the deal.

According to Hello magazine, the plans for her second birth are similar to Kensington Palace’s birth plans for Prince George in 2013; however, there are a few changes with three hospitals ready to deliver Kate and William’s second baby. The first choice location is the exclusive Lindo Wing, but if complications in the plans arise, the Royal Berkshire Hospital and staff at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge are also ready to care for the Duchess.

Whilst this COULD suggest pregnancy complications, it’s more likely that the Palace is putting contingency plans into place, in case she goes into labour at her parent’s home in Berkshire.

Wherever she gives birth, the most important thing is that all is well. Although I reckon she appreciates a discount like the rest of us. One’s thing for sure, we are VERY excited to find out whether George is getting a baby bro, or a little sis.
