Victoria Arbiter, a royal expert for ABC News previously said that there's "an added pressure that they are clearly very wealthy, and a lavish baby shower would be seen as highly inappropriate".
She continued on:
"There's nothing they can't go out and buy themselves."Fair point but if Duchess Kate wanted to celebrate her pregnancy with her nearest and dearest, surely she should be able to?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their first child and it will be interesting to see if Meghan decides to have a baby shower when it gets close to the birth.
