Argos have issued an urgent recall for a cot duvet that may cause infants to overheat.

The Washable 4.0 Tog Duvet includes a high level of insulation exceeding the specific rating that could cause a baby to overheat. Consumers have been urged to stop using the product immediately and return it to any Argos store for a full refund. A proof of purchase is not necessary. The Tog Duvet catalogue number is 790/3076. The product was on sale for €15 but has since been removed from the Argos website. Overheating in babies at night can cause severe discomfort and, in more extreme cases, cot death. Argos has confirmed that no other products are affected by this specific recall.
