"We never knew a baby could be born with one tooth never mind seven teeth."Upon inspection by doctors, it became clear that the teeth in Prayan's mouth were loose and that they needed to be removed immediately to avoid choking. It took two surgeries carried out over three days to remove all seven of the teeth. Most babies only started teething at around six months, so to say that Prayan's condition is rare is an understatement.
However, there are other cases of newborns emerging from the womb with fully grown teeth in their gums - and a few are even closer to home.
In 2014, Wales Online reported that a woman had given birth via Caesarean section to a baby girl who had two front teeth in her mouth.
Mum Chloe said she was in shock because the teeth looked "bizarre."
