Baby Who Died From Brain Injuries Had ‘Thug Life’ Written Across His Tummy In Marker

Little Ares Baroz was just 18 months old when he died last November.

The cause of death was bleeding on the brain as well as fractures of the skull.

Hospital staff also determined that the little boy was malnourished and under-cared for when he was admitted after his mum found him unresponsive in his cot at their family home in New Mexico.

The Washington Post reports that the little boy’s 27-year-old mother, Miranda Rabago was indicted on child abuse charges. She denies the charges.

Now prosecutors say they have found pictures on Ms Rabago’s mobile phone which show the baby with ‘thug life’ scribbled across his tummy. They also found pictures with ‘loco’ written across his forehead and a fake tattoo.

It is unclear when the pictures were taken but prosecutors say they are important to show a little about the baby’s home life.

If found guilty, Ms Rabago, who is currently pregnant, could face up to 21 years in prison.
