A baby has died after a hit-and-run incident in Las Vegas.
The one-year-old was thought to have been playing in the street in the northeast valley when they were run over by a vehicle.
The unknown car then left the scene.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening.
Metro Lt. Grant Rogers said that the baby was “playing” with other children when the car ran him or her over.
The child’s parents did not know that the child was outside at the time.
The baby was brought to a local trauma ward where he or she was pronounced dead.
