Our Tuesday evenings are about to get a hell of a lot sweeter this month.
The Great British Bake Off is returning and we honestly couldn’t be happier about it.
The wholesome series is actually returning sooner than we expected on September 21.
“Bake a date in your diaries – we’re back!” Bake Off shared on Instagram.
There’s no doubt that the beginning of 2021 was one of the dullest chapters ever so we’re exceptionally excited about the return of Bake Off.
We need these comforting and joyous shows, especially now that the evenings are getting darker.
Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas will return as hosts this year.

Joining them are judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, who will be on the lookout for soggy bottoms.
Filming took place during the summer, Channel 4 confirmed.
The cast and crew of this year’s Bake Off formed a support bubble in order to protect one another from Covid-19.
20-year-old student Peter Sawkins was crowned the winner of Bake Off last year.
The amateur baker said he is “buzzing” for this year’s series.

And he’s not the only one.
Fans of the beloved baking show have been celebrating the news.
One wrote: “OH FINE I’ll stay in on Tuesday nights for the foreseeable and binge on cakes and drool at my tv if you insist. Ugh, the worst.”

The Great British Bake Off returns to Channel 4 on September 21st at 9 pm.
