Don’t get caught out, lads.
Bank of Ireland has warned customers about the latest scam doing the rounds.
The bank has advised its customers not to give out any of their personal information to a “fraudster” who has been contacting people with a variety of “offers.”
The scammer has been contacting customers via phone and email.
Bank of Ireland issued a tweet this morning warning customers to never disclose any serial numbers or log in details to their accounts.
We’re aware that a fraudster is making calls & sending e-mails claiming to be from BOI. Please be very careful of any ‘offers’ you may be asked to take up. To check if it’s a genuine call just send us a DM. Never disclose any serial numbers or log in details to your accounts.
