“Joshy you were and are the most beautiful bright brave soul.”

Baz Ashmawy has penned an emotional tribute to Josh Parsons after his untimely death.

The presenter said he is “lost for words” after the 6-year-old’s passing.

Alongside a sweet photo of Josh, Baz said his smile always brightened every room.

“I’m Iost for what to say. This is so tragic,” he wrote.

“In the little time, I spent with Joshy I noticed how his eyes always twinkled around his family. His smile and eyes filled me with the brightest light.

“A light which you can only gleam when you’re surrounded in love and joy.

“Joshy was utterly adored and worshiped by his family and he was infatuated with them too.”

Baz said his heart is completely broken for Josh’s family, especially his parents Glen and Jen, and his brother Ryan too.

“Joshy has the most wonderful mum and dad and brother that a little boy could ever ask for.

“I know his absence will be irreplaceable. Though I know in my heart that same light will always be bright inside them, because I know it will always shimmer inside of me and everyone that ever spent time with him.”

He was admitted to ICU in Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

However, Josh sadly passed away in the arms of his parents on May 2nd.

The young boy had Smith-Magennis Syndrome, a severe developmental disorder.

Josh appeared on DIY SOS Ireland earlier this year.
