Who run the world?
Yesterday was the International Day of the Girl and to honour that, Beyoncé released a special video to her epic anthem Freedom.
Working with Chime for Change and Global Goals, the video featured a group of girls from across the globe as the lip-synced their way through the hit song.
Sharing the video on Facebook, Beyoncé captioned the post:
“Today is #DayOfTheGirl. Girls around the world are fighting for their freedom every day. Join me and take action for #FreedomForGirls now.”
The incredible video has already been viewed over 2.1 million times on Facebook alone and has quickly gone viral.
The goal?
“If we work together we can achieve the Global Goals by 2030.
“End all forms of violence against girls. Put all girls in school. End the aids epidemic. End child marriage.
“Girls around the world are fighting for their freedom every day.
“Join them.”
