The actress honoured her late mother in the sweetest way.

Billie Lourd found the perfect way to pay tribute to her mother, Carrie Fisher, at the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi last night.

The 25-year-old actress is now starring in the film franchise, playing the role of Lieutenant Connix in the upcoming movie.

However, truly missed at the event was the late Carrie Fisher who was most well-known for playing the iconic Princess Leia.

Billie found the perfect way to honour her mother by giving a nod to her much-loved character.

Sporting a braided updo, Billie’s look was an obvious tribute to Princess Leia’s famous braided looks throughout the series.

Billie also wore many of her mothers rings on the night, which wasn’t missed by fans.

Carrie Fisher died at the age of 60 in December 2016.
