Following the arrival of her first child in June, Bláthnaid Treacy has shared some insights into life as a new mum.
The TV presenter was forced to go on maternity leave early due to discomfort and pain in the last few weeks of her pregnancy and since welcoming her daughter Nancy, she’s definitely got her hands full.
Nancy was born on June 28th and since then, Bláthnaid has been living in her own little bubble. Today, she shared how life has been with an extra person and how she is lapping it up at home.
Sharing a recap of the past month on Instagram with her followers, Bláthnaid wrote: “July … when the sun came out. A month of getting to know and love Nancy.”

She wrote at the time: “Nancy Claire Treacy-Mooney is here. Born on 28th June at 2.23pm, weighing 6lb 11oz and she is as cute as a button.
“Thank you for making us a family Nancy, we love you to the moon and back, forever and ever.
“Thank you for making me a mum @cha_moon_e, Nancy is the luckiest girl in the world to get to call you her dad, we love you endlessly.
“She is the greatest love of our lives and the flipping image of her dad.”
