Boots issue urgent recall of these two soothers over safety concerns

As a precautionary measure, Boots issued a product recall yesterday over two own-brand soothers. 

The soothers in question, that the store are now asking customers to return, are:

· Boots Baby Airflow Soother 0-6 months
· Boots Baby Airflow Soother 6 months.

This is what Boots Ireland had to say in their official statement about the recall yesterday:

“The health and safety of our customers and patients is always our highest priority. We’ve recently discovered a potential manufacturing fault in two Boots Baby Soothers which might cause a small tear in the silicone teat. As a precautionary measure we are recalling these two Boots Baby Soothers and we are asking customers to return these products to our stores immediately for a refund or replacement with a similar item.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause our customers and would like to offer our reassurances that as soon as the fault was identified as part of our quality control process we immediately removed these lines from sale. No other products are affected.
