Boots has recalled two Boots baby soothers due to health and safety concerns.

In a statement by the chain, it said:“The health and safety of our customers and patients is always our highest priority. We’ve recently discovered a potential manufacturing fault in two Boots Baby Soothers which might cause a small tear in the silicone teat.

“As a precautionary measure we are recalling these two Boots Baby Soothers and we are asking customers to return these products to our stores immediately for a refund or replacement with a similar item.

“We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause our customers and would like to offer our reassurances that as soon as the fault was identified as part of our quality control process we immediately removed these lines from sale. No other products are affected.

“If customers have any further questions or concerns they can call Boots Customer Care on 1800 509 115. Minicom users can call 1890 252 064 or speak to their local Boots store team.”

The shop is urging customers to return Boots Baby Airflow Soother 0-6 months and Boots Baby Airflow Soother 6 months+ if you have purchased them recently.
