I bought a €3 TIGER kids surprise bag today and this was what was inside

Who doesn’t love a surprise right?

On my lunch break today I decided to pop into TIGER to pick up a couple of bowls and a carrot peeler (the exciting adventures of mum I know).

Of course, you can’t just head into TIGER without taking a gander at all the other cute bits and bobs they have and that was when I spotted them. The surprise bags!

When I was a teenager I was obsessed with the surprise bags that Claire’s used to put together even though they were mostly just random bangles and picture frames.

My cousin and I would head in on our days off school and try to see if we could feel what was inside. We just about never succeeded and that’s why I am still the proud owner of about 50 Claire’s photo stands.

With the TIGER surprise bags, there’s absolutely no chance of trying to figure out the contents by touch due to their packaging, so if I wanted to find out what was inside I would have to buy one. That’s exactly what I did.

So, what was inside?

I’m not going to lie I was creased when I opened it up and saw the big pink face staring back at me. To make things even better it oinked all over the office when I pulled it out.

It’s not a money box or anything, just a big pink rubber pig. I suppose it is a kids bag after all and I know my toddler will love it.

There was also a box of crafting stamps and some cute magnetic picture frames (I know frames again).

As surprise bags go it’s not a bad haul for €3 and the contents are definitely a lot sturdier than the flimsy plastic toys that come in most lucky bags.

There is also an adult version available which could be a great joke gift for a friend.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to get the bus home with my big pink pig.
