The police launched a search and found a car of off the road nearby, overturned in a ravine. The boy's one-year-old brother was found strapped into a car seat inside. Kyman had escaped the car through its sunroof after the accident and had gone to get help. The children's mother, named as 25-year-old Lisa Holliman, had been thrown from the car in the crash and had died, according to USA Today. It's thought that the children had gone two days without food or water. The younger boy was taken to Arkansas Children's Hospital and treated for a number of non-life threatening conditions including potential dehydration. Both boys are expected to recover fully. Their grandparents are in the process of adopting the boys, reports NBC. Their story is especially incredible given the summer heat and humidity, said Detective Nathan Greeley of the Ouachita County Sheriff's Office.
