We love a happy ending and this story certainly has one, thanks to an unlikely hero.
One family in the UK was reportedly left devastated when someone broke into their home and stole a number of their belongings including a watch belonging to one of the kids.
Unfortunately for the burglar, it was a Liberty Watch Phone which has a built-in GPS tracker.
This meant that the family was able to track the watch using an app and therefore knew the location of the thief (and their other belongings).
They apparently called to the house and confronted the young burglar who eventually handed back the valuables. The family then passed on his name to the authorities.
The family originally bought the Liberty Watch Phone, produced by Irish start-up company
WatchOvers.com, in order to keep track of their youngest son while he was out playing with friends.
They are also aimed at elderly people or those with medical conditions who may need to contact someone or be located in case of an emergency.
