Today may start out with some mist or fog in places, this will clear early in the morning. The day will be warm and mainly dry with sunny spells and light easterly breezes. This afternoon and evening, as has been standard enough over the past couple of weeks, there will be a risk of a few heavy or thundery showers in the northwest and in the southwest. Connacht may also be affected by these showers.
Even though temperatures will be high in many places, we can expect a muggy feel as it will be rather cloudy in many places.
According to Met Éireann, on Friday morning, there's will be a risk of heavy, showery rain in Munster and Leinster in the morning and extending westwards. In the afternoon and evening, scattered showers will mainly affect Ulster, Connacht and west Munster. Some will be heavy and possibly thundery.
