BREAKING NEWS: A Teenager Has Been Stabbed To Death In Dublin

GardaĆ­ have launched an investigation after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Dublin this afternoon.

The attack, at a house in Tallaght, happened just after 3 pm today.

The Irish Independent reports that the incident happened at a house in Kilclare Crescent in Jobstown in the Dublin suburb.

The boy was rushed to Tallaght hospital but was pronounced dead earlier today.

GardaĆ­ have confirmed that the scene has been preserved for a technical examination and no arrests have yet been made.

The Garda Technical Bureau is expected to arrive at the scene in Dublin 24 within the hour.

An appeal has now been made for any witnesses who were in the area to come forward with any information:

“Gardai wish to appeal to witnesses who may have been in the Kilclare area this afternoon between 2.45p.m and 3.30p.m. to contact them at Tallaght Garda Station on 01 666 6000, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.”
