Brian Dowling has opened up about his mother’s untimely passing

Brian Dowling has spoken out about the heartbreaking loss of his mother Rosie in 2018.

The TV presenter’s mum died at the age of 61 from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.

Brian has often spoken out about Rosie’s death, especially around her birthday.

She would have turned 68 this month, Brian told his followers.

He said his family has been reflecting on their time with their mum and honouring her on her birthday.

He told his followers, “Mum would have been 68 years old today. My sisters and I have been all chatting in a group since half five this morning and I’ve been feeling really emotional the last few weeks.”

Dowling continued, “You know, it just makes me realize how my mom never met Blake or Blu or Jessie or Harvey or seeing the rest of her grandkids grow up and us and life.”

He said this is “always a weird time of year” for him and his loved ones because such a key member of their family isn’t there to mark Christmas with them.

In February, the dad penned a heartfelt tribute to his mother on her six year anniversary.

He said it breaks his heart that his daughters, Blu and Blake, never got to meet their grandmother.

“Sometimes the grief is so hard to process it still takes my breath away. On days like today all I have to do is look at my beautiful little girl who just puts a smile on my face,” he said.
