Britney Spears has spoken out after suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage earlier this month. The Toxic singer said she hopes the heartache doesn't last forever. The mum-of-two posted a photo of Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City with the quote, "I am not in the mood to be with a bunch of people." Alongside the image, Britney said: "Unfortunately my mood these days." "I honestly hope it doesn't turn into years." Britney and her fiancé Sam Asghari confirmed they lost their baby over the weekend. In a joint statement, the couple said they were devastated by the loss, but vowed to keep trying for a child. They wrote: "It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy." "This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along however we were overly excited to share the good news." "Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family." "We are grateful for all your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment," they added. Sam also said they won't give up on trying to have a child together. He recently said, "We have felt your support. We are taking things positively and moving forward with our future. "It’s hard but we are not alone. Thank you for respecting our privacy. We will be expanding our family soon." Britney is a mum to two sons whom she shares with ex Kevin Federline.
