The new episodes of Gilmore Girls arrived on Netflix in November and they didn’t disappoint, picking up ten years after we left the characters in Stars Hollow.
There is no denying that the Netflix revival went down an absolute treat with fans, and the good news is that we may not have to wait another decade to find out what happens next (that cliffhanger!).
In fact, Netflix’s Ted Sarandos revealed over the weekend that they are in “very preliminary” talks with Gilmore Girls creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino to create more new episodes (eep).
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter Ted said “We hope there are more installments. We obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped,”
They absolutely CAN’T leave us hanging as it is, so this offers a much-needed glimmer of hope that the coffee swigging, fast talking, mother daughter duo will return to our screens.
