We adore her.
Cameron Diaz has spoken candidly about becoming a mum in her 40s and the joy she felt when her first daughter was born.
The actress gave birth to her first daughter Raddix in 2019 with her husband Benji Madden.
Speaking openly about how motherhood changed her perspective on life, the Charlie’s Angels star told Jimmy Fallon about life as a mum of a toddler.
She said: “Every single day, there are leaps and bounds, and these things that happen — she’s not the same baby she was yesterday.
“It’s so gratifying to actually get to see that growth and to be a part of it and to help let her be her, and it’s just amazing.”
Becoming a mum in her 40s has given Cameron a new look on aging, as she told People:
“The whole concept of aging has just changed completely, even in the last 10 years.
“It’s totally opened up. I’m excited. I’ve got 50 or 60 years to go—I want to live to be 110, since I’ve got a young child.”
Becoming a new mum also made Cameron appreciate her relationship with her parents more, adding: “I think you have this amazing moment in your 40s where you appreciate who your parents are, and I want to have that moment with her—be there with her in her 40s.”
