Camilla Parker-Bowles is the only member of the royal family missing the big day.
According to reports, the Duchess of Cornwall won’t be able to make it because she has a prior commitment.
It has been said that she’s due to visit a Scottish school on the same day of the wedding.
Princess Eugenie will marry her fiancé Jack Brooksbank this Friday, 12 October and it’s believed that Camilla was forced to decline the invitation months ago as she didn’t want to let anyone down.
A royal source confirmed the news to The Mirror saying that the Duchess has a “long-standing prior engagement”.
Jack and Eugenie will marry in St George’s Chapel, Windsor, the same place where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said their vows although they are said to be having more guests.
According to the royal rumour mill, Eugenie may wear Erdem and if this is true, we are very excited to see her dress.
Erdem is a favourite of Kate Middleton and his floral prints are just exquisite so it’s fair to say that a wedding dress made by the esteemed designer would be very special indeed.
The wedding ceremony will be broadcast live on ITV and BBC will show a ‘wedding highlights’ package too so it looks like there will be a lot of coverage from the couple’s big day.
ITV says the #royalwedding2 ceremony at 11am will be broadcast live in full on @thismorning as Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank get married in Windsor.
And just in case you risk missing it, there’s a highlights programme at 8pm on @ITV (we wouldn’t want you to miss a frame!) pic.twitter.com/EJsEymBUIP— Chris Ship (@chrisshipitv) October 2, 2018
It’s been said that Princess Charlotte and Prince George will act as page boy and bridesmaid although Kensington Palace has not yet shared this information. Princess Beatrice is likely to be her sister’s maid of honour though and we might be a little excited about seeing the royal family in their regalia for the second time this year.
