Mother-of-two, Teresa Byrne was outspoken about her feelings when she spoke to the Irish Independent describing how she was "deeply insulted":
“To say that I am not the mother of my children because I could not biologically carry them is an insulting suggestion, and one that is clearly aimed at shaming families that do not conform to this group’s narrow view of what constitutes a family.”
From the Yes side of the campaign there have been playful interventions with doctored versions of the 'No' posters cropping up on social media.
While other Facebook users put it a bit more explicitly.
