It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since Caroline Flack passed away.

The TV presenter died tragically on February 15, 2020. She was going through a very public court battle at the time of her death over an incident that occurred in her house in December 2019.

The 40 year old was due to appear in court charged with allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, Lewis, a charge that both parties denied.

Caroline died by suicide before her court date and before she had a chance to see her boyfriend again. The two were prohibited from see each other due to the ongoing legal proceedings.

Lewis took to Instagram today to pay tribute to his girlfriend. Sharing a picture of them together, he shared the caption: “1 year, I will never forget you” with a broken heart emoji.

TV presenter Laura Jackson also posted pictures of her and the late TV presenter, her caption reading: “Thinking of you today, Carrie. You were amazingly infectious.

“You had this unbelievable powerful pull – the kind of pull that’s so hard to explain. You commanded every room you walked in – even though you had the smallest feet known to man.”

She went on: “You were the most fun; wild, ridiculous, brilliant, unbelievable fun. Whenever anything ridiculous happened – good or bad – it was always ‘content for the book’.

“You loved holidays, kids, dogs, singing, red wine, lipstick and drive throughs – especially a Macdonald’s Big Mac. I can never say the word Wally without thinking of you. You loved love. You really did love love. So many memories I know we will all.”

Caroline passed away in her home on February 15. Her death triggered the beginning of the #BeKind movement, a social media campaign encouraging an end to the harsh realities of celebrity culture.
