Casey Batchelor has opened up about her difficult labour, revealing that the pain of delivering caused her to to be sick.

The reality star and her boyfriend Dane Goodson welcomed their first child, a baby girl called Florence, last month.

Mum and baby are now doing well but Florence’s arrival was far from easy, Casey had revealed.

“I got up to 9.5cm dilated just on gas and air, but the pain became unbearable,” she told OK Magazine.

“My body was in so much shock that I was vomiting over myself. Dane was so worried. I said: ‘I literally can’t do this any more. Get me the epidural!’

“Right now I don’t know if I could do that pain again. She was worth it, though.”

The new mum said that she also struggled in the hours and days after giving birth.

“The doctors came in after the birth and said I had spinal fluid leakage from the epidural, so I might get some bad headaches, and then they discharged me.

“The next day I couldn’t get out of bed. I was breastfeeding, so Dane would bring her into me and I would give her what I could laying down on my side, because I couldn’t even sit up to hold her, and then she’d be taken back out.

“People were coming round and holding her when I couldn’t even hold my own baby. I was getting really depressed and I was in agony.”

Earlier this year, Casey opened up about the “horrendous fat-shaming” she had experienced during her pregnancy.

The 33-year-old penned an open letter to her social media followers, where she recalled how she had “grown a very thick skin” after the comments.

She wrote:

“I have had some horrendous comments online that I’m fat! Honestly some of them really make me laugh, apparently I should be harpooned.

“I have grown a very thick skin to these bullies and trolls and to be honest they amuse me.
