Near, far, wherever you are…

Céline Dion was every inch the proud mum as she was spotted cheering on her son at his recent hockey game.

The music legend looked like she was having the time of her life at her teenage son René-Charles Angelil’s match for the U16 Golden Knights team this week.

The 49 year old was caught breaking out her best moves and clapping wildly as she supported her son.

According to the Montreal Gazette, her son René-Charles was just outside of Montreal, Quebec, to play a friendly match with his hockey team.

The icon was decked out in a Las Vegas Golden Knights jersey with the number 5 and her son’s name on the back.

She also took the time out to pose for a series of selfies with fans at the arena.

And Céline proved she was still a hometown girl at heart.

The goal song she was dancing to was actually “Le But”, the goal song for the Montreal Canadiens.

The musician, who is originally from Charlemagne, Quebec, shares three sons with her husband Rene Angelil, who tragically died of head and neck cancer in January 2016.

Their hockey star son, Rene-Charles, was born in 2001. They welcomed twins Nelson and Eddy ten years later.
