If you wanted to see for yourself.
As we're all presumably aware now, Storm Emma is approaching Ireland and it's expected to be the worst snowstorm in over a decade. With temperatures of -10c expected in some areas and accumulations of 6cms of snow forecasted the country is preparing itself for the next few days.
At present, there is an orange weather warning in place for Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Laois, Louth, Wicklow and Meath and a yellow weather warning in effect for Kilkenny, Longford, Wexford, Offaly, Westmeath, Cork, Tipperary and Waterford.
Later in the week, it's expected to be even worse with a chance that the warnings could be elevated to a red status.
While the government, Met Eireann and local authorities are doing their best to keep the public informed and prepared, it's still a waiting game to see just how bad the weather will be. Schools could close and roads may become impassable.
In the meantime, if you're looking to see for yourself just how bad it will be, there is a website which tracks the world's weather system and it can indicate what way the weather will be this week.
Windy.com allows you to see the wind, temperatures, snow and rain radars over the next few days. Just at a glance today, here is the outlook for the country for snow accumulation.
The dark blue colour shows accumulations of 0 - 5cms of snow, turquoise signifies 5-7cms of snow and green is anything over 10cms and up to 50cms of snow.
