Cheryl and Liam are moving BOTH their mums in to help out when the baby arrives

Welcoming your first baby is certainly a bit of a nerve-wracking experience for all first-time mums and dads.

I mean; it is all just so new. It is one thing being pregnant and getting used to all the changes and challenges that come with. But leaving the hospital with this new baby – like an actual real, life baby – that you are now in charge of keeping alive, well, that’s a whole other ballgame altogether.

I was certainly very grateful to have my mum with me for the first few weeks of both my babies’ lives, and can fully understand why rumours are now saying that both Cheryl and Liam are moving their mothers in to help out with baby duties.

The former X-Factor judge, who is yet to officially confirm or comment on her pregnancy, is according to multiple reports said to have asked both her own mum Joan and Liam’s mum Karen, to move into the Liam’s Surrey mansion with them for the arrival of the couple’s baby.

Speaking to Closer, a source close to Cheryl and Liam said: “Joan and Karen are keen to lend a helping hand in the important but stressful weeks after the baby arrives.”

The source then added:

“Also, Karen is a nursery nurse so she has a lot of hands-on experience with babies.”

But keen to also make room for the young family to settle into life with a baby, Liam and Cheryl mothers’are said to only want to stay for a short while.

“Both mothers are excited but have put a time limit on their stay as they know it’s important for Cheryl and Liam to have their space – and quality time as a new family.”
