Children horrified as Disney character ‘beheaded’ at theme park

beheaded

Grim.

Disneyland is a lovely place.

It’s got people dressed up as characters, lots of rides, and is generally just a magically and great place to spend a bit of time.

The one thing you generally don’t expect to happen at Disneyland is for children to be horrified and scared during rides that don’t involve roller coasters or the Pirates of the Caribbean.

However, children were recently horrified and scared during a ride that wasn’t either of those things and we can honestly see why.

Because a Disney villain was literally beheaded.

And it was terrifying.

Yep, there she is now. Having lost her head.

Lovely.

Ursula from The Little Mermaid ride clearly malfunctioned or wasn’t put back together properly after a service, which led to this happening as visitors went on by.

Not the most welcoming of sights, clearly.

The clip was shared on Twitter by Disneyland park visitor, M Lilah, who said that those on the ride were not at all happy with what they’d seen.

Especially not the children.

She told The Huffington Post:

“Immediately after we got off we were ushered out along with everyone else, and the employees looked very concerned.

“Many people had seen Ursula decapitated, including kids who understandably were upset.

“It was a pretty freaky thing to see.”

Freaky, indeed.
