This is the most common day for babies to be conceived

Gettin’ busy.

Know a lot of people born in September? Well, it seems like a lot of people get busy in the bedroom on a certain day over the Christmas period… and we don’t blame them.

The Christmas break can be a long one, and it looks like the day after Christmas – St. Stephen’s Day, people get it on.

Research published by Women’s Health shows that on average, 1,800 babies are born in a day (btw, this study was conducted in Australia but we’re guessing it’s near the same around the world), however, on September 26, that number rises to 2,000.

If you rewind it back 9 months, that gives a conceive date of December 26.

However, the study shows that this might have more to do with parents wanting their children to be born at the start of a school year rather than people getting randy at Christmas time.

Birth rates completely dropped on two particular days – February 29 (leap year and all that) and understandably April Fool’s Day.
