Controversial model defies critics, giving birth to 8lb baby boy

US model Sarah Stage has given birth to a bouncing baby boy, defying critics who claimed her fitness regime was inappropriate during pregnancy and her bump was too small to be healthy. Baby James Hunter weighed 8 lbs., 7 oz. and was 22 inches long. Stage (30) posted this picture of herself at 39 weeks on Sunday, just two days before she gave birth.   Confirming the birth to E! News, the model said: “Yes!! Thank you! All of that is indeed true :) he’s a big healthy boy and he got an APGAR score of 8-9. Thank you for supporting me throughout my pregnancy!”
