Fighting talk…
It must be strange to be stopped by random people while you’re going about your everyday business and one person who’s had enough is Coronation Street‘s Georgia Taylor.
The actress, who plays Toyah Battersby on the soap, said yesterday that she’d been called ‘rude’ by a fan for refusing to take a selfie with them.
In a tweet, Georgia said that she was in the doctor’s office when someone wanted to get a photo with her.
“Since when was it deemed acceptable to ask for selfies in the doctors reception?” she wrote.
Since when was it deemed acceptable to ask for selfies in the doctors reception? You have no idea what I’m here for and it’s completely inappropriate, but apparently I’M the ‘rude’ one for saying no… 🙄

She was backed up by some of her co-stars on Twitter, including Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby) and Kym Marsh (Michelle Connor).
You are quite possibly the kindest soul i know. Maybe some people should stop and think how ‘rude’ they are? I’ll send Leanne round and that will show them rude ??

Casualty actress Amanda Mealing tweeted to say that she’d had a similar experience when she was scattering her father’s ashes.
Oh babe!!! I had a group come up to me as I was scattering my fathers ashes!!!! Oblivious to the fact I was sobbing my heart out! https://t.co/CvLOa8Ifjx

So… yeah. Best to be sound and choose your moment wisely when fangirling over your favourite soap star.
