Coronation Street’s Mikey North teases massive twist between Adam and Gary

Coronation Street's Mikey North has hinted at a massive twist ahead between Gary Windass and Adam Barlow.

The pair are set to soon go head-to-head, as upcoming scenes will see Adam find out Gary was the one who brutally attacked Ryan Connor. According to Digital Spy, the solicitor gets the news from a private detective that he hired to follow Gary. [caption id="attachment_482054" align="alignnone" width="540"] Gary confronts Ryan about paying back the money he owes.[/caption] And while Ryan is determined to keep quiet over the attack, Adam asks the private detective to send over the photos he has as proof - which leads to a big confrontation at the Rovers Return. However, Mikey North hinted that Gary may be able to outsmart Adam, as he tries to expose the builder's true colours in front of the other Weatherfield residents. [caption id="attachment_482052" align="alignnone" width="540"] Later, Adam and Imran learn what happened to Ryan.[/caption] He told DigitalSpy:

"Gary knows Adam would stop at nothing to try and catch him out. I really enjoy the dynamic between Adam and Gary. "I keep thinking Gary will get caught at every turn, but he manages to find a way out of it every time. Gary feels untouchable so it is nice to pay with that.

"Gary is a very persuasive man and I am sure he will be able to turn the tables on Adam. He knows most people have their price, even private detectives."

"I feel like I have really got into his psyche and have a clearly defined character. He is a villain and he is a nasty piece of work, but he is becoming more clever with it, which is good to play."
