Corrie's Robert Preston to be arrested for killing Vicky Jefferies after she goes missing
Corrie's Robert Preston is going to be arrested under suspicion of killing Vicky Jefferies after their affair is exposed.
The chef is engaged to both Vicky and Michelle Connor. For the last few months, he has been trying to keep the two women from finding out about each other.
The restauranteur has been desperate to keep his relationship with Michelle, as well as his baby with Vicky.
However, with Michelle set to soon find out about his affair with Vicky, things are going to get even worse for Robert.
An insider told The Sun:
"Robert is going to be hauled in by police after Vicky goes missing. They think he's killed her after he disappears on the night she did and then returns to Weatherfield with a face full of scratches.
"The scenes where Vicky confronts him over all his lies to her about Michelle are explosive. She loses it completely at him and that's the last fans see of her."
And it won't be long until Michelle begins to wonder if Robert had something to do with Vicky's death.
The source continued:
"Michelle is suspicious too because she realises the night Vicky went missing is the same night Robert mysteriously went out in the middle of the night."
Tristan Gemmill, who plays Robert Preston, announced in April this year that he would be exiting the ITV soap. You can read more about that here.
