This creative dad made his kids the most adorable tractor bunk bed

Denise Curtin

This is incredible.

One father who’s kids have a loving for tractors, particularly John Deere, went above and beyond to create the most incredible tractor inspired bed.

Finding the design online, the father-of-two along with the help of his little minions, assembled the bed and it looks fantastic.

The bed which took a total of four days hard work to make, looks just like a tractor and we are obsessed.

The family were so thrilled with how the bed turned out, wife and mother of the twins, Jennifer Brooke shared the details on how you too can re-create the bed.

Here is the extensive list of supplies used:

  • 4 – 2x6x10
  • 12 – 1x4x8
  • 15 – 2x4x104
  • 4 – 2x2x8
  • 16 – 5/16×3.5″ carriage bolts
  • 16 – washers
  • 16 – lock nuts, 5/16″
  • 1 box – 2.5″ drywall screws
  • 1 piece of 4×8 plywood (to cut the wheels out of)

In terms of paint, wall paint was used for the frame, acrylic paint for the headlights and reflectors and then black spray paint for the wheels.

The muffer was created out of black PVC pipe, which she also suggested you can spray paint black if you can’t find any in that colour.

A project perhaps for any daring parents over the bank holiday? We love it.
