Criminal Minds star Shemar Moore set to become a dad at 52

Criminal Minds actor Shemar Moore is set to become a dad for the first time. The 52-year-old actor confirmed his first child is due on February 8th. Speaking on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the actor revealed the news. He said: “I’m Shemar Moore, 52 and a half years old. My mother is in heaven, right now it’ll be the three-year anniversary on February 8. And on February 8, I’m going to make one of her dreams come true because, in real life, Shemar Moore is about to be a daddy.” Moore said it hurts knowing his mum isn't here to see him become a parent. However, he said he knows she's there in spirit, especially because his child is due on February 8th, which is her anniversary. "I’m sorry she can’t be here. I was worried for a while that it was a ‘that ship has sailed,’ kind of thing but God had my back and things lined up.” “It’s going to be the best part of—my life is already pretty grand, but I know whenever God does call my name, once I get this experience, I’ll be able to go to heaven whole.” Moore and his partner Jesiree later revealed they're expecting a baby girl. This is the actor's first child, but Jesiree's third. She is a mum to 5-year-old daughter Charli and 16-year-old son Kaiden. Watch the gender reveal below:
