Crumlin cafe giving away free treat boxes to help raise funds for Crumlin Hospital

Such a lovely gesture.

With the Late Late Toy Show only a couple of days away, children across the country will be gathering together their jammies and treats for the show.

One small Dublin business decided that the Toy Show was the perfect time to give back not just to their local community but also to Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

Pip’s Café and Deli in Crumlin posted during the week to say that they would be giving away free treat boxes to local children;

“We will have 200 Late Late Toy Show sweet boxes available FREE.

We know some people are struggling with the cost of pre made sweet boxes, so this will allow you to fill your own sweet box with the sweets and treats that your kids like, limited to three per person until everyone who needs them gets them.”

Pip’s later wrote that if people were able to leave a donation to Crumlin Children’s Hospital it would be greatly appreciated.

The café had originally intended to donate treat boxes to the hospital but due to Covid restrictions they will now be sending a donation.

If you live in Crumlin do pop down to Pip’s as they are planning to do 200 more boxes tomorrow as well.
