Feel like a coffee morning?

Well, now is your chance to have a top quality coffee morning WHILE helping a great cause.

The Irish Cancer Society are looking for people to take part in their next big coffee morning to raise awareness and funds to aid in the fight against breast cancer.

They are looking for companies and communities – be it your yoga group, book club, or just your group of friends – to host Cups Against Breast Cancer coffee mornings this October.

We want to see loads of coffee mornings happening to help raise money to support breast cancer patients and their families. If you sign up for one of these coffee mornings, you are also in with a chance to win a wonderful hamper, filled with all the coffee and goodies you need to host your coffee morning.

There are two hampers up for grabs – one to go to a company coffee morning and the other to a community coffee morning.

The host that wins will be fully kitted out with everything they need for the event, as well as enough coffee and goodies to keep the kitchen stocked for the next while. There will ALSO be a representative from the Irish Cancer Society there to give a little talk to the crowd about the good that this Cups Against Breast Cancer morning can do.

To be in with a chance to win, all you need to do is fill in the registration form online and tell us why you’re getting your cups out this October.

It’s bound to be an absolutely delightful morning. Sure, why not go the whole hog and bring in a few cakes or bickies to share around?

The money raised at these events is invaluable to the fight against breast cancer and it also does so much to support breast cancer patients and their families, ensuring that they do not have to face cancer alone.

One in eleven women develop breast cancer in their lifetime. It is the second most common cancer in women and it is estimated that 3,168 cases are diagnosed in Ireland every year, with about 27 of those being men.

Breast cancer treatment has improved immensely in recent years, thanks to the money raised by charities like the Irish Cancer Society. Nowadays, 86% of those diagnosed with breast cancer are living five years and beyond.

However, there is still so much more to be done.

To help this truly important cause, sign up to host a Cups Against Breast Cancer coffee morning at your work or with your community this October. Click here to get involved, to help a good cause and receive loads of lovely goodies while you’re at it.

Get those kettles boiling.
