Awwww.
As the storm hits around the country, with Dublin, Kildare, Louth, Wicklow and Meath getting the brunt of it, it looks like our furry friends in Dublin Zoo are seriously loving their day out in the snow.
An image shared by Dublin Zoo’s official Twitter explained that the zoo is in fact closed today however, the zookeepers are still busy at work looking after all the animals and caring for them especially as temperatures are said to plummet even lower tonight.
They first tweeted at 9am this morning to announce the closure sharing a cute image of one of their elephants enjoying the snow.
The safety of our visitors and staff is paramount at Dublin Zoo. Due to the severe weather conditions, Dublin Zoo is closed today.

They then posted a collection of photos, explaining that they are “working hard to make sure the animals are comfortable”, and we have to admit, the elephants win our hearts over again and again AND again!
