A devastated father has invited his daughter’s bullies to come to her funeral.

Fourteen-year-old Amy ‘Dolly’ Everett from Australia’s Northern Territory died by suicide last week after dealing with online abuse.

“Our daughter Dolly was the kindest, caring, beautiful soul, and she was always caring for animals, small children, other children at boarding school who were less fortunate than herself,” her family said in a statement to ABC.

In the wake of the their daughter’s death, her parents have started a social media campaign against cyber bullying.

Their ultimate aim is to establish a trust in her name to educate people on youth mental health and suicide, they said.

“We are not concerned with the who or the why of who pushed our daughter to this point, we just want to save another family going through the sadness and tragedy that our family is experiencing.”

In a Facebook post, Dolly’s father Tick said that his daughter’s life “won’t be wasted” if they can save others.

He also invited those who had bullied her to come to her funeral.

“If by some chance the people who thought this was a joke and made themselves feel superior by the constant bullying and harassment see this post, please come to our service and witness the complete devastation you have created,” he wrote.
