This year’s I’m A Celeb could see a delay in filming.
Ant and Dec were due to film a promo for the new series of I’m A Celeb this week. While the pair were very much on board at first, it appears now that Ant isn’t ready to get back to work.
Instead of waiting in London to do the promo, he flew off to LA with his agent to take some time to relax.
The promo was due to be filmed this week in Pinewood Studios in London, but it’s not looking likely that it will happen and people have been speculating that the same delay may occur when it comes time to film the actual show.
A source told The Sun: “It would have been the first day filming but with Ant away, there is no way they could get started.”
Speaking about his break in LA with agent Paul, they added:
“He’s gone to get away from the spotlight. He’s in recovery and it’s important he has time and space.
Paul’s gone to provide support. He is one of his closest friends.”
The priority, at this point, is for Ant to get better and be a part of the show, so we’re happy to wait until he’s ready.
