Disney has an open casting call for an Irish boy

Disney are on the hunt for an Irish boy to play the lead role in the adaption of Eoin Colfer’s novel, Artemis Fowl.

They are looking to audition boys in Ireland between the age of 9-12 of any ethnicity.

According to RTÉ, Artemis is described as, “Inquisitive and possessing both academic and emotional intelligence, he is highly perceptive and good at reading people. Most importantly, Artemis is warm-hearted and has a great sense of humour; he has fun in whatever situation he is in and loves life.”

If anyone wants to audition then they must attend specific casting dates, accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. They must also bring a recent photo to the auditions which take place in the following locations:

14:00-19:00, May 24th, Schull
14:00-19:00, May 25th, Schull
14:00-18:00, May 26th, Cork City
